Mejbas is a structural engineering consultancy based in Kirkcaldy, the UK. It was established in 2015 by Dr. Ahmad Mejbas Al-Remal.
Ahmad holds a BSc in Civil Engineering from the University of Jordan and a PhD in Structural Fire Engineering from the University of Edinburgh. He has over 37 years of practical experience including over 25 years in the UK. His experience spans a wide range of structures, from small and large residential buildings to major UK and international infrastructure projects, including power plants and nuclear structures.
Ahmad taught structural engineering theory and design at the University of Edinburgh for three years where he won two teaching awards, including the most prestigious Van Heyningen Award for the Best Teacher at the College of Science and Engineering at the University of Edinburgh.
